View in Khmer

Long Beach Health and Human Services has started administering the COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11.

The vaccine given to children is a lower dose of the Pfizer vaccine that was provided to those ages 12 and older. The vaccine will be a two-dose course with 21 days between the first and second doses.

Children ages five to 11 can receive a free vaccine at any city-run vaccine and booster clinic. Click here  to view the December clinic schedule.

Parental consent is required for everyone under the age of 18. The consent form is available here. Appointments for vaccines are strongly suggested. To make an appointment, visit myturn.ca.gov or call (562) 570-4636.

The Long Beach Unified School District continues to publicize local vaccination clinics on its electronic flyer board system called Peachjar. You can also find this e-flyer board at ngskmc-eis.net by selecting the peach symbol near the top of the home page.
